Skye police joke about '˜quality ensuite' accommodation

THE police officers of Lochaber and Skye are known for their witty tweets, and didn't disappoint over the weekend.

Referring to arrests they made over the weekend, the police joked about their “ensuite accommodation” - or cells - that had been occupied over the weekend.

The tweet read: “We must have a gr8 reputation for quality en-suite accommodation as quite a few sampled it over weekend - 3 are even booked in till Tuesday!”

@Oyster_Lady replied to them saying: “@lochabSkyePol Feather pillows? Down filled duvet?”.

To which the police account responded: “ye right - and a butler at the press of a button!”

The twitter account became a viral hit after the #HipHopCops tweet about Kanye West was shared across the globe. The US star had been on the island shooting a new music video.

The tweet read: “Out in your Kardashian around Skye this summer? We’ll be Keeping Up with you so Kanye please drive sensibly? #OpRoute #HipHopCops”.
