Pirates captured off Somali coast

A WARSHIP off Somali waters has captured 14 pirates and destroyed their boat.
Abdulqadir Muse Yusuf, the fisheries minister in the semi-autonomous Puntland region, said yesterday that authorities are still investigating the identity of the warship.

#2 Scully . They are actually extremely well organised bandits with automatic weapons and open boats that can do fifty knots or more. That part of the Indian Ocean is not the place to be!!!!

Take them 200 miles offshore and let them swim back. #3 is quite right, there is nothing amusing about modern-day piracy, whether off the Somali coast, South China Sea or off Sumatra, Indonesia. If the ransom isn't paid, then the crew is killed.
